How it works

Get your file checked in three steps

Files sent outside shop hours are checked first thing the next morning.

1. Send your fileWhatsApp it to 07912 681288 or email it to contact@ukwizmedia.co.uk, and tell us the product and size you want, for example "A5 flyers" or "800mm roller banner".
2. We check itWe check the size, 3mm bleed, image resolution, colour mode, fonts and anything too close to the edge.
3. You get an answerWithin 2 hours during shop hours we reply with "ready to print" or a short list of fixes. If it needs work, we can fix it or design it for you.

Size and bleed

Your file should match the finished size, with 3mm bleed wherever colour runs to the edge.

Resolution

Images need around 300 dpi for flyers and cards and 150 dpi for banners and posters. Try our free DPI checker.

Colours, fonts and safe area

CMYK colours, embedded fonts, and text kept safely inside the trim so nothing gets cut off.

Is the artwork check really free?

Yes. There is no charge and no obligation to order.

How quickly will you reply?

Within 2 hours during shop hours (10am–8pm). Files sent outside those hours are checked first thing the next morning.

What if my file needs fixing?

We tell you exactly what to change. We can also fix it for you or design it from scratch, and we always tell you the price first.

Do you check files ordered online too?

Yes. Every file uploaded with an order is checked by a person before printing, and we contact you if anything could cause a problem.

What file types can I send?

PDF is best. JPG, PNG, TIFF, AI and EPS also work. For very large files, email us a WeTransfer link.
