Roller banners or PVC banners?
Roller banners (also called pull-up banners) are for indoors. The print rolls into an aluminium base, so you can set it up in seconds and pack it into its carry bag afterwards. They come 800 to 1500mm wide and 2000mm tall, with Economy, Standard Plus and Premium stands. The print is the same on all three. What changes is how sturdy the base is.
PVC banners are for outdoors. They are waterproof, printed with UV-resistant inks and finished with rings, tunnels or a plain cut edge. Popular sizes run from 120 x 60cm up to construction fence and crowd barrier sizes, with custom sizes up to 25m.
Same-day banner printing
The 800 x 2000mm roller banner with the Economy stand and 440gsm PVC banners from 100cm to 20m wide (no rings, or rings in the corners) can be printed the same day. Get your artwork approved before 7:00pm on a working day and choose Same Day Collection or Same Day Delivery (Manchester).
Getting your artwork right
- A print-ready PDF is safest. JPG, PNG, TIFF, AI and EPS are fine too.
- Images should be 150dpi at full size. Screenshots and WhatsApp images print blurry.
- Roller banners: keep text 40mm from the edge and use a 70pt or bigger headline.
- PVC banners: keep text 50mm from the edge so rings and hems stay clear of it.
Every file is checked by a real person before printing. Use our free DPI checker or read the artwork guidelines. No design yet? Send us your logo and text on WhatsApp and we can design it for you.
